PGP Public Encryption/Decryption Key for Keith E. Risler, M.A.

WHY IS THIS PGP PUBLIC KEY NEEDED?
This key is needed both to verify PGP-signed email from us, as well as to send/receive PGP-encrypted email to/from us.

This PGP public key must be used to if you need to send secure email to Keith E. Risler, M.A. via either of the following Internet email accounts. An email-based implementation of PGP is required as well:

We recommend that you print this page so as to have on hand the key Fingerprint, with which to verify the downloaded key.

You may obtain this PGP public encryption/decryption key in one of three ways, of your own choosing

1. Download the public key file from this web site and import the downloaded key file into your PGP public keyring by right-clicking here: Keith E. Risler, M.A. PGP Public Key (right-click to download).

3. Copy and paste the key code displayed below as directed into PGPkeys: For instructions on how to use this copy-and-paste key in PGP, click here.

INSTRUCTIONS ON USE
To import the above public encryption key into your PGP keyring:
1. Highlight all of the yellow-highlighted text starting with (and between) "-----BEGIN PGP PUBLIC KEY BLOCK-----" and ending with " -----END PGP PUBLIC KEY BLOCK-----";
2. Then right-click and select "Copy" to copy the key to the Windows clipboard.
3. With your PGPkeys program window open, select "Edit" and then "Paste" in the top menu bar within PGPkeys and the key will appear within PGPkeys;
4. Examine the hexadecimal fingerprint for this key in PGPkeys. It should read:
C7DB 77ED ABBB 0C58 32D7 F09F 54C2 4D3C 7B0D FD2F
5. Sign the key so that you can set its trust to "Trusted", provided the fingerprint as listed above matches that shown in your PGPkeys program.

Following the above steps will allow you to send us messages in a secure fashion, as well as let you verify secure messages received from Keith E. Risler, M.A. For added security download this same key from a PGP key server (Search for: Keith E. Risler, M.A.) and again check for a fingerprint match in PGPkeys. These instructions work for PGP v6.5.8, when run on Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP. Use procedures applicable to your version of PGP and operating system type.
